Veil Jourde advises Région Réunion and SEMATRA on the restructuring of Air Austral

Veil Jourde advised Région Réunion and SEMATRA, Air Austral’s main shareholder holding 99% of its capital, in connection with the restructuring of the Reunionese airline Air Austral.
On 25 January 2023, the Commercial Court of Saint-Denis, La Réunion, approved the conciliation protocol which, under the aegis of CIRI, set out the terms of Air Austral’s restructuring.
Air Austral had a turnover of 236 million euros in 2022 and employed 900 people on La Réunion, representing nearly 3,000 indirect jobs.
