They notably look back at the recent parliamentary report, which gives a mixed assessment of the law’s true impact, focusing on two areas symptomatic of the French approach to environmental transition:
- Complex measures, with uncertain results, taken without adequate hashtag#concertation with the industries concerned
- Insufficient articulation with European reforms, which undermines hashtag#harmonization efforts and calls into question free circulation in the single market
