Veil Jourde and Towery, advisors of Côté Maison in the takeover of Ideat and The Good Life magazines

Veil Jourde and Towery advised Côté Maison, chosen by the Paris commercial court as buyer of Ideat and The Good Life magazines.

Côté Maison, a 100% subsidiary of Prisma Media, was chosen on April 19, 2024 by the Paris commercial court to acquire the magazines Ideat and The Good Life belonging to the company Ideat Editions in receivership. This recovery allows all jobs to be preserved.

Ideat and The Good Life are two bimonthly magazines that are benchmarks in their field: the first, founded in 1999, specializes in design, decoration and architecture; the second, created in 2011, is positioned on lifestyle, tackling subjects as diverse as the economy, art, music, travel and even fashion. Both titles hold licenses abroad: in Benelux, Germany and China for Ideat; in Italy for The Good Life.

The acquisition of these two powerful brands allows the Prisma Media group to strengthen its luxury and lifestyle division, after having taken a majority stake in Milk, bought the Côté Maison group and successfully launched the French version of Harper’s Bazaar.

In this transaction, Côté Maison was advised by the Veil Jourde firm, with Eugénie Amri, partner, and the Towery firm, with Samuel Scherman, partner, on the restructuring aspects.
